1. Create a group:
• Put class flyer on DP
• Name the group
• Add group description if you want to
For the group settings...
2. Change the Group settings to allow ONLY ADMINS to send messages and edit group info.
This is because of people that will start holding village meetings in the group before the training starts.
Something else...
3. Don't add people directly to your class! ❌
Use this funnel instead:
Ad > Whatsapp DM > Group ✅
Why DM first?
It allows you;
• build rapport with each person
• ensure they save your contact
• send them group link
Hint: use Autoresponder
Got that? Next...
4. If the date is still far...
• Drop a testimonial with an emotional storyline every 2-3 days. This creates more anticipation for the class.
• Ask them to repost your flier to get more people in.
Hint: give them a free gift (pdf or something of value) for repost.
Also...
• Repost your introduction every 2-3 days, asking them to sit tight and wait for more people.
• State the date and time clearly, in fact make it bold...
then expect a few people that will still send a DM asking date and time... Like why???? 😩
One more thing...
• You can ask them to vote for the best time to hold the training, so you won't come to talk to yourself alone.
This prepares them for whatever time the majority agrees to.
Asking them for their opinion makes them feel involved or carried along 👍🏽
To make things easy...
5. Plan your notes ahead.
Don't start typing long texts during class, you'll lose their attention ❌
Type lecture texts and post in a private group. Then forward your notes to the class.
Even your village people will wonder why your class is so stress-free.
Secret hack...
6. On the D-Day, be self motivated. Let your excitement be palpable.
If the training is in the evening, let them start introducing themselves in the morning.
It keeps the "anticipation energy" high.
Another hack...
7. Before you start the class, drop a testimonial.
When I did this, you needed to see the way they were all saying, "I can't wait!" "let's start this class!"
The desire was on the high
The excitement was on the high
I came to the class feeling fly
For the main action...
8. When it's time, bounce in with all the energy you have. Tell them to drop emojis, clap... whatever.
Tell them you'll remove inactive members.
I did remove some people from my class and they reached out to me via DM.
After adding them back, others became responsive.
Next...
9. Reach out to those who leave your group.
Reasons some leave;
• they came online, saw loads of messages and felt overwhelmed
• they don't understand what you're teaching
Find out their reasons. Guide them.
One more thing...
10. To increase sales conversion:
• use a combination of texts and voice notes for teaching
• use screenshots/pictures and videos for testimonials
• hold a live session on Zoom or Google meet for one of the sessions
• lock the group when you're teaching
And finally...
11. Don't forget to always ask for feedback.
Those feedback will;
• serve as testimonials
• make others see the value they're getting/ignoring
• encourage the inactive ones to participate
